Ingredients

6 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter (3/4 stick)
¾ Cup Dark Brown Sugar
2 Tablespoons Banana Liqueur
1/3 Cup Dark Rum
2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
8 Bananas, peeled, halved & split
½ Cup Pecans, broken & toasted
Vanilla Ice Cream

Preparation

1. In a 12-inch skillet, melt the butter on medium heat.  Add sugar and banana liqueur,  until melted and thickened, about 3-4 minutes.  Add the rum and lemon juice and cook until syrupy.

2. Add the bananas in a single layer and cook, basting occasionally.  Do not stir.  Bananas are done when they begin to look translucent.  Serve the bananas over ice cream topped with toasted pecan pieces.
