Ingredients

2lb Black Pearl Salmon Filet
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar (Packed)
1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Finely Minced Fresh Ginger
1/2 Teaspoon Finely Minced Garlic
1 Teaspoon Vegetable Oil
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 400 Degrees. Line a sheet pan with non-stick aluminum foil. Set aside.

1. Combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, cayenne, ginger, garlic and oil in a small saucepan. Heat to a simmer over medium-low heat.

2. Combine the salt and pepper in a small bowl. Liberally season the black pearl salmon fillet on both sides with this mixture. Place the salmon fillet on the foil lined pan, skin side down.

3. Combine the salt and pepper in a small bowl. Liberally season the black pearl salmon fillet on both sides with this mixture. Place the salmon fillet on the foil lined pan, skin side down.

4. Place the seasoned black pearl salmon in the preheated oven and cook 5-7 minutes. Remove from the oven and baste with the glaze mixture. Return to the oven for 5 minutes. Remove and baste again. Repeat this process until the salmon flakes easily, approximately 15-18 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillet.

5. Boil the remaining glaze for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently.

6. Serve the reduced glaze with the salmon. Goes well with rice, a vegetable and a salad.
