
Cheese Grits
Ingredients
3 Cups Milk
2 Teaspoons Kosher Salt (1 teaspoon table salt)
¼ Teaspoon Ground Red Pepper
2 Tablespoons Butter
1 ½ Cups Quick Yellow Grits
1-1 ½ Cups Sharp Cheddar, grated
Preparation
1. In a 2-quart pan add milk, salt, red pepper and butter and bring to a boil.
2. Whisk in the grits and reduce heat to medium, stir for 2-3 minutes. Stir in cheese and cook uncovered 2-3 minutes or until the grits are creamy and tender. Serve immediately.
