Ingredients

 

1 ½ Cups Heavy Cream
1 ½ Cups Chicken Stock, heated
¼ Pound Imported Gorgonzola Cheese, crumbled
½ Tablespoon Butter
½ Tablespoon All Purpose Flour
2 Cloves of peeled Garlic, minced
½ Teaspoon chopped Fresh Thyme
Salt
Pepper

Preparation

1. Heat a 1 qt sauce pan under low heat and melt butter add in minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, whisk in the flour to form a roux and cook until a golden brown color is reached.

2. Slowly whisk in the heated chicken stock until smooth, add in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, do not let the cream burn.

3. Add in the thyme and crumbled Gorgonzola cheese continue whisking until sauce is smooth and creamy.

4. Simmer for 5 minutes and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
