Ingredients

1/2 Cup Ketchup
6 Tablespoons Lemon Juice, or More to Taste
2-3 Tablespoons Bottled Horseradish
Fresh Horseradish, Peeled and Grated To Taste
2 Tablespoons Tomato Juice
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
Big Dash Tabasco Sauce
1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic (or More to Taste)
1 Tablespoon Chopped Serrano Chili
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
Kosher Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Ancho Chili To Taste
Fresh Herbs: Flat Leaf Parsley, Chives, Oregano
16 Large Shrimp – Shelled & Deveined (Tail On is Optional)
4 Cups Mixed Field Greens

Preparation

Preheat the grill or a large grill pan. Oil the grill well.

1. Combine the ketchup, lemon juice, bottled horseradish, fresh horseradish, tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped Serrano and olive oil in a bowl. Taste for seasoning and adjust, adding salt and pepper and/or other seasoning to your taste.

2. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Place the shrimp in the sauce and toss to coat. Set aside to marinate in the sauce for about 30 minutes.

3. Brush the shrimp with the sauce again.

4. Place the shrimp on the hot grill.

5. Grill until just done, approximately 3-5 minutes. Continue to baste the shrimp with the sauce as it cooks.

6. Place the greens onto 4 plates. Place 4 shrimp on top of each bed of greens. Drizzle the sauce onto the greens as a dressing.
