
Grilled Lobster With Roasted Garlic Aioli
For the Lobsters:
4 cloves roasted garlic
3 lobsters, 2 pounds each, split in half
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon fresh Italian parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper
For the Aioli:
1 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
2 anchovies, minced
4-6 drops Tabasco sauce
Salt and pepper
Preheat the grill to high heat.
Combine the olive oil, salt, pepper, chopped parsley and crushed pepper flakes. Marinate the split lobsters in this mixture and set aside. Prepare the garlic aioli: puree the mayonnaise, lemon juice, roasted garlic, chopped thyme, minced anchovies and Tabasco in a food processor. Adjust seasonings with salt and pepper, set aside.
Grill the lobsters on all sides until cooked through, about 8 minutes. Place the grilled lobsters on a platter and serve with the roasted garlic aioli on the side.
