Mahi Mahi With Pear Salsa

For the pear salsa:

2 pears, peeled, cored and diced

2 tablespoons red onion, chopped

2 tablespoons red bell pepper, chopped

1 teaspoon jalapeno, chopped

1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon agave nectar

1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger


4 Mahi Mahi steaks

Salt and pepper


Combine all of the ingredients for the salsa in a bowl and set aside so the flavors can marry. Heat a non-stick grill pan over medium-high heat. 

Grill the Mahi Mahi for 8-10 minutes, turning once (The fish is done when it turns opaque in color and flakes easily). Allow fish to rest for 5 minutes. 

When ready to serve, top the Mahi Mahi with the pear salsa and serve.
