Spicy Harissa Asparagus
Harissa is the spiced chile paste you want to be adding whenever a dish needs a little kick. Case in point: these sauteed asparagus that will steal the show at any meal.
2 pounds asparagus, trimmed
¼ cup olive oil
3 tablespoon prepared harissa
2 tablespoon lemon juice
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
½ cup mint leaves, roughly chopped
Toasted pine nuts, for garnish
Light a grill. In a large bowl, toss the asparagus with the olive oil, harissa, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Let sit for 15 minutes to marinate.
Grill the asparagus, turning often, until tender and well charred, 6-7 minutes. Transfer to a platter and garnish with mint leaves and pine nuts, then serve.
