2 egg whites

1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract

1/2 tablespoon water

1 pound pecan halves

1 cup sugar

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 250°F.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a gallon-sized freezer bag, mix together the egg whites, vanilla extract, and water. In a separate gallon sized freezer bag, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add pecans to the bag with the egg white mixture. Seal the bag and shake around the pecans until they are evenly coated.

Transfer the egg white coated pecans to the bag with the sugar mixture. Seal the bag and shake around until the pecans are evenly coated with the sugar mixture. Spread the pecans on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely before serving.
