Summer Cherry & Mint Punch


Cherries are at their absolute best in the summer! This crowd-pleasing punch is the perfect way to infuse a refreshing cocktail with the season's best produce. It starts with an easy cherry-mint simple syrup, freshly squeezed lime, grapefruit juice, and topped with your favorite Prosecco. 

Easily make this non-alcoholic by swapping out the Prosecco with sparkling water and omitting the liquor. 


For the cherry-mint simple syrup:

1 C granulated sugar

1 C water

1 C cherries 

A handful of fresh mint


To build the cocktail:

1 ½ C gin or vodka

1 C grapefruit juice

2 limes, juiced

1 C cherry-mint syrup


Ice to fill punch bowl




  1. Add water and sugar to a pot. Heat until sugar is dissolved. Add cherries and mint and stir occasionally for 5 min. Strain out cherries and mint and set aside to cool. 
  2. When simple syrup is cooled completely, combine the rest of the ingredients into a large punch bowl and top with the desired amount of Prosecco. 
  3. Fill with plenty of ice.
  4. Garnish with slices of grapefruit and lime, mint, and fresh cherries.
