Moroccan Spiced Lamb Meatballs with Spiced Tomato Sauce

For Meatballs:
1 lb Kings organic ground lamb
1 Kings large organic egg, lightly beaten
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/2 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 tbls KINGS Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
For Sauce:
1 tbls whole cumin seeds
1/2 tbls crushed coriander seeds
1 tbls KINGS Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 cup Kings organic onion, chopped
2 cups KINGS Diced Tomatoes
1/2 tsp cinnamon
salt and pepper to taste

For Meatballs:
1. Combine the lamb, egg, garlic, hot curry powder, coriander, cumin, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
2. Form into meatballs about 1” in diameter.
3. Heat the olive oil in large sauté pan and add the meatballs. Cook until browned on all sides, about 3 to 4 minutes, turning several times.
4. Remove the meatballs from the pan and transfer to plate.
For Sauce:
1. To make the sauce, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
2. Add the cumin seed, coriander, garlic and onion and sauté until soft and golden, about 5 minutes. Stir in the tomatoes.
3. Add the cinnamon and season to taste with salt and pepper.
4. Return the meatballs to the pan and turn several times to coat them with the sauce.
5. Cover and cook an additional 6 or 7 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.
